Martine Same began her career as a Teacher of French Language and Literature in England and of English Language in grammar schools in Haute- Savoie (France). She then followed studies in Physiotherapy, and specialized in re-education (rehabilitation). She worked 20 years in the Paris region, both as a Physiotherapist and as a Teacher of Physiotherapy. She still teaches Physiotherapy and has been appointed as Director of the Collection Philosophy, Ethics and Health (Connaissances et Savoirs editions) in 2016. Since gaining Doctorates in Educational Science and Philosophy, she has spent several years researching and joining discussions on ethics with health professionals and philosophers, concerning the theme of what philosophy can bring to the world of functional re-education and rehabilitation. Over the last ten years she has taught, and drawn attention to, the relevance and importance of this approach, especially through the publication of her thesis in Practical Philosophy and through the writing of articles and books on the subject.

Simon Allen has obtained his PhD in Medicine in 1978. For over 14 years, he has worked at and subsequently headed a hospital’s Cardio-Vascular department, and treated patients with renal diseases. He had authored many scientific articles on metabolic disorders, including those linked to obesity, kidneys, arthritis, cardio-vascular and gastroenterological diseases. He has lectured Medical Doctors pursuing higher medical qualifications. He then devoted nearly two decades to further medical research into various chronic internal diseases. He has established Fine Treatment, UK, is the Author of The Origin of Diseases Theory and the inventor of effective physiotherapeutic devices which enable the Thermo balancing therapy.

Deepak Anap is currently working as Professor and Head of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Department of DVVPF, College of Physiotherapy, Ahmednagar ( INDIA). He has completed his Ph.D with research in lumbar facet syndrome. He has published more than 45 research papers and co authored a chapter in book on radiology. He received long term research grant from Maharshtra University of health Sciences Nashik for his research on facet joint.

Tomasz Karski studied at Medical University in Lublin and received medical doctor certificate in 1961. During the studies he was active for three years in Students Scientific Orthopaedic Association and later after graduation he was the Assistant Teacher for young student generation. In 1967 and next in 1971 he passed specializations degrees - first and second degree in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology of movement apparatus. In 1972 he received the doctor degree and in 1982 after habilitation (colloquium before Medical University Council) he passed consecutive degrees to receive PhD degree and later became Assistant Professor. In 1993 he was awarded by full professor degree and title by President of Poland. Since 1st October 1995 to 2009 he was the Head of Chair and Department of Paediatric Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation of Medical University in Lublin/Poland, in the biggest Paediatric Hospital in Eastern Poland Region.

Erdem KASIKCIOGLU is a Professor in the Department of Sports Medicine at Istanbul University. Beside having a clinical specialist in sports medicine, he is also specialists in internal medicine and clinical cardiology. Until to now, he has presented many articles and lectures about his mostly interesting topics; cardiopulmonary exercise testing, clinical physiology, sudden cardiac death in sports, preoperative evaluation, and prevention strategies of chronic diseases, cardiac rehabilitation, exercise-based rehabilitation of chronic diseases, and sportive rehabilitation after musculoskeletal injuries.

Eythor Kristjansson, graduated in Physical Therapy (BSc) in 1981, and finalized his 3 years post-graduate education in Manual Therapy in Oslo, Norway in 1987. He was acknowledged as specialist in Manual Therapy in 1992. He received his PhD in Health Science from University of Iceland in cooperation with University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia in 2004. Thesis: Investigations into the stability system of the cervical spine. He his former assistant professor in physical therapy and has been a supervisor for MSc and Ph.D. students at the University of Iceland, the last 15 years, while simultaneously working with patients for 37 years.

Facilitating utilization of research results into clinical practice for patients with neck pain and its associated disorders, with special emphasizes on patients who have endured whiplash-distortion injuries after motor vehicle collisions.

Leo Rathinaraj. A.S., is a Faculty Member of the department of Physical Therapy, College of Applied Medical Sciences at University of Hail in Saudi Arabia. He has about 15 years of teaching as well as clinical practice experience in the field of Physiotherapy. He has completed graduation in Physiotherapy in 2000 from one of the prestigious Physiotherapy Institute; KMCH college of Physiotherapy, Coimbatore. After his BPT he was working as Clinical Physiotherapist in Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences a state of art multispeciality teaching hospital with excellence in research. He was selected for the post graduation program in Physiotherapy on merit basis in the KG college of Physiotherapy in 2005. His area was specialisation was advanced physiotherapy for orthopaedic conditions and his dissertation was about the effect of Multifidus Retraining Program in chronic low back pain. After successful completion of MPT in 2007, he joined as Associate Professor cum Principal In-charge of KD Gavit college of Physiotherapy in Maharashtra province of India. Later he moved to MIP college of Physiotherapy in Latur, where he was promoted as Professor and Principal. He also has post graduation in Psychology and Hospital Management. He is a certified Manual Therapist from MTFI, India. He has around 20 peer reviewed index journal publications, 20 conference presentations and 2 textbooks, also serving as editor and reviewer for few journals. He is a PhD scholar under the Faculty of Physiotherapy and his research work is effect of core stabilization exercises in the selected pulmonary function parameters. Sreeja. M.T. is a Faculty Member of the department of Anatomy, College of Medicine and Applied Medical Sciences at University of Hail in Saudi Arabia. She has about 10 years of teaching as well as research experience in the field of Anatomy and its related field. She has completed post-graduation in Anatomy from the Faculty of Medicine, MG University, Kottayam, India in the year 2006. After her post-graduation she joined as Lecturer in KG Institute of health sciences where she was teaching the both under and post graduate students of Physiotherapy and Nursing institutes. Later in 2007 she joined as Lecturer in Al Azhar Dental college and her Anatomy teaching was for undergraduate dentistry students. In 2008 she joined as Lecturer, later promoted as Assistant Professor in MIMSR Medical college and served for about 5 years. She was teaching Anatomy, Embryology and Histology for the MBBS, BDS, BPT students. Now in University of Hail, she is teaching Medical, Dentistry, Applied Medical Science and Pharmacy students. Her research interests are gross anatomy, its variations, neuroanatomy, Histology and other medical related research. She has around 15 publications in the indexed journals, 9 conference presentations and co-authored 2 textbooks. She is a PhD scholar under the Faculty of Medicine and her research work is about the Histogenesis of the hypoglossal nerve nucleus in human foetuses. She is a life member of Anatomical Society of India [ASI] and Fellow of Academy of General Education [FAGE].

She has around 10 years of experience in teaching and research in the field of Human Anatomy. She published around 15 research articles in peer reviewed index journals, 9 conference presentations and authored 2 textbooks. She received the prestigious Young Researcher Awards from IIR, Chennai. Her research interest is about the gross anatomy and its variations, neuroanatomy and Histology.

Ana Paula Ribeiro is a graduate in Physical Therapy and has completed his Ph.D by the University of Sao Paulo, School of Medicine, Sao Paulo/SP, Brazil, which also is conducting Post-Doctoral studies at the same University. She is a Researcher and Professor, Program of Post-Graduation in Heath Sciences and Professor at the School of Physiotherapy, University Santo Amaro, SP, Brazil, and Coordinator of the Laboratory of Biomechanics and Rehabilitation Musculoskeletal with emphasis on research in the areas: Orthopedics, Sports injuries, Running and Gait Biomechanics, musculoskeletal disorders of the knee, ankle and foot (plantar fasciitis, knee osteoarthritis), and Corporal Posture and biomechanical changes in pregnant.
