Biography
Sreeja. M.T. is a Faculty Member of the department of Anatomy, College of Medicine and Applied Medical Sciences at University of Hail in Saudi Arabia. She has about 10 years of teaching as well as research experience in the field of Anatomy and its related field. She has completed post-graduation in Anatomy from the Faculty of Medicine, MG University, Kottayam, India in the year 2006. After her post-graduation she joined as Lecturer in KG Institute of health sciences where she was teaching the both under and post graduate students of Physiotherapy and Nursing institutes. Later in 2007 she joined as Lecturer in Al Azhar Dental college and her Anatomy teaching was for undergraduate dentistry students. In 2008 she joined as Lecturer, later promoted as Assistant Professor in MIMSR Medical college and served for about 5 years. She was teaching Anatomy, Embryology and Histology for the MBBS, BDS, BPT students. Now in University of Hail, she is teaching Medical, Dentistry, Applied Medical Science and Pharmacy students. Her research interests are gross anatomy, its variations, neuroanatomy, Histology and other medical related research. She has around 15 publications in the indexed journals, 9 conference presentations and co-authored 2 textbooks. She is a PhD scholar under the Faculty of Medicine and her research work is about the Histogenesis of the hypoglossal nerve nucleus in human foetuses. She is a life member of Anatomical Society of India [ASI] and Fellow of Academy of General Education [FAGE].
Research Interest
She has around 10 years of experience in teaching and research in the field of Human Anatomy. She published around 15 research articles in peer reviewed index journals, 9 conference presentations and authored 2 textbooks. She received the prestigious Young Researcher Awards from IIR, Chennai. Her research interest is about the gross anatomy and its variations, neuroanatomy and Histology.
